2013 Intuit Accountants Rate Survey — Please Help with the Average Billing Rates Survey!

The Intuit Accountants Rate Survey is a great resource for accounting professionals.  The last survey of average billing rates was in 2011 with some of the results shared here.  Now it’s time for the 2013 survey.  Please take a few minutes to complete the survey so we have great results to share with everyone.   Due to the sensitive nature of billing rates, all replies are kept confidential and you will not be asked for your name, email or other identifying information.

Also, please share the survey link on Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, with co-workers and elsewhere.  We want as many accountants, bookkeepers and ProAdvisors to complete the survey as possible for better results to help us all.

Initial results will be shared in early November on the Intuit Accountant’s Blog and in a blog post here too.

Thank you all for your help!

Thanks Elizabeth for your feedback & completing the survey. If you answer yes to the question about if you charge Fixed Fees you get the questions to enter details — like for a monthly bookkeeping fee. You should be able to go back in to the survey & change the answer to that question. Then, you’ll get the questions re: fixed fees.

I tried to take the survey. I did not complete it. It was too limiting because I don’t charge by the hour and a monthly fee was not considered.

This is important, especially in light of the fact that the industry is moving away from hourly billing.

It will still be good information to have once the survey closes and the results are compiled.
